OBJECTIVES

In view of the poor state of affairs of economic and social development in the international community there is an increasing demand on corporates and business executives to recognize their responsibility in respect of contributing to philanthropic programs, as good corporate citizens. In fact, recent international statistics on corporates and entrepreneurs that are actively involved in philanthropic programs have indicated that their businesses are substantially more profitable and sustainable than those who are not.

To this end, GABM has set itself with the uncompromising commitment of identifying and allocating associate membership to at least one million billionaires and millionaires that are represented in every country of the world. This will provide GABM with a strong representative voice and participation rights in various global economic issues, as well as in matters of significance importance to its associate members on a national, state or provincial level.

In addition, to effectively and efficiently address the huge demand for corporate participation in international philanthropic programs, GABM aims to respond by the appointment of GABM Goodwill Ambassadors in numerous geographical regions around the world.

GABM will expect from each GABM Goodwill Ambassador to adopt and apply its values and principles as a matter of course. In addition, through its GABM Goodwill Ambassadors, GABM will use its influence to persuade international corporations and affluent individuals to conform to its vision, mission, corporate activities and objectives in order to accelerate GABM’s international presence as well as its positive contributions towards global philanthropic development programs.
